Solicitation: H92240-15-Q-1006 Amendment 0003 (continuation) Am
The purpose for Amendment 0003 is to answer Request for Information (RFI’s), replace the Statement of Work and Schedule Offer in its entirety and incorporate Attachment A (document must be completed and submitted with quote). In addition, incorporate FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, and FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation – Commercial Items, clarifying the submission requirements and evaluation factors.
Request for Information: Questions/Answers:
| Q | 1. Will the sewage be disposed of off-site, or is there a discharge point available at Camp |
| Pendleton? |
A Yes, there is a discharge point available on sight at Camp Pendleton and at no charge.
Q. 2. Where will the potable water be procured? Is it off site, or on site?
A. A revised Statement of Work corrects the statement potable water to Non-potable water. There is no potable water on base to supply to us. The Statement of Work is hereby revised to state NON-Potable Water.
Q. 3. Approximately how many people will the hand wash stations be serving?
A. The number of hand wash stations required per the Statement of Work are 9 stations and the number of people using the stations will vary. There are two wash sinks per one station and depending on how often it is used will determine how long it lasts. We will have three stations at Bravo Range, two at the shooting house, and four on the rifle range.
Q. 4. Is there is service history available? The bid lists this as on call, but knowing how often each service is typically performed will be very helpful.
A. The hand wash stations are serviced at least once a month, with possibly two occurrences within the month. The on-call service is dependent on the number of training sessions.
Q. 5. Solicitation lists water replenishment as potable water. The current contract servicing is replenishing with non-potable water.
A. The Statement of Work and the Solicitation is hereby revised to state Non-potable Water. Yes, the current contract is replenishing with non-potable water.
| Q. | 6. Solicitation does not address the dumping of the grey water that will be pumped from the septic tank and hand wash stations. (Until recent the dumping of the water was conducted at a designated dumping station located on Camp Pendleton). That location is no longer available for dumping the grey water. If the dumping of grey water will no longer be allowed on Camp Pendleton a new CLIN will need to be added to the solicitation. |
| A. | There is a designated dumping station located on Camp Pendleton. To ensure the gates to the dumping station are not locked, coordination with the customer may be required prior to services. The dumping of grey water will continue on Camp Pendleton, free of charge; therefore, no CLIN will be required. |
Q. 7. How many days will the hand wash stations will be onsite, and how frequent of service if needed.
A. The hand wash stations are on site all the time and are serviced at least once a month, with possibly two occurrences within the month.
