Common Questions/Answers:
1) Transducer ‐ is that a Transamount transducer?
The transducer will be mounted on the boat IAW the specs laid out by whichever GPS system wins the bid. The Garmin GPSMAP 7610xsv was used as the baseline example for the type of GPS systems we require for this contract.
2) Are the current boats fiberglass or aluminum?
Fiberglass hull boats
3) What are the current dimensions of the GPS on them now?
6x8" screens are currently on 10 boats, 2 other boats have 4x6" screens.
4) How many boats are going to be available for install at a time? Is there a schedule?
Four boats will be available at any given time for install if install occurs off site. If install occurs on base at our location, all boats could be made available as long as we maintain four working boats to use for training events.
