The Department intends to establish Master Agreements with a qualified pool of contractors to maintain and operate one or more of its golf courses, including ancillary facilities such as banquet rooms, pro-shops, and coffee shops. Contractors must submit Statements of Qualifications by 12:00 noon on Monday, April 1, 2019, to the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, Contracts Division, located at 1000 South Fremont Avenue, Unit #40, Building A-9, Alhambra, California 91803. Late submissions will be evaluated after initial Master Agreements are executed.
Minimum qualifications for contractors include a minimum of five (5) years of concurrent experience operating and managing three (3) or more golf courses within the last ten (10) years, with three (3) of those ten years occurring within the past five (5) years and including public facility management or operations experience. The RFSQ specifies detailed minimum qualifications in Section 1.4. Applicants can download the complete RFSQ and register for future contracting opportunities through the County's official contracting website at http://doingbusiness.lacounty.gov/. The County will make accommodations for persons with disabilities pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, including sign language interpretation and alternative format materials upon three-day notice.
