Amendment 1- Synopsis/Solicitation Geo-Loc To enhance competition, Amendment 1 to synopsis/solicitation Geo-Loc for Geolocation Services World-Wide, posted 13 Sept 10. You are hereby notified that the period of performance identified in the solicitation is hereby descoped.

FROM: BASE PERIOD 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 with Four One-Year Option Periods TO: BASE PERIOD, 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2011 without the Four One-Year Option Periods, but including a FAR 52.217-8 6-months extension. This extension will be pre-priced in case the source selection is not completed before the base period of performance expires.

Please submit proposals or revised proposals for this 1 year base period and pre-priced 6-month extension by 27 Sep 2010, 4:00 P.M. Central Time. Revised source selection evaluation criteria and revised Schedule B are attached to this Amendment 1.

On 17 Sep 2010, the agency removed the risk portion (paragraph 2.2) of the previously posted source selection Evaluation Criteria, due to Q&As and this procurement utilizing a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable methodology.

Please note, and incorporate, the revised 2.1.1 technical requirements in the source selection criteria in submitted proposals.

The Government intends to complete a one-year base period with four year options in FY11 for performance in FY12 and option periods FY13-FY16.
