About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). The agency is seeking to procure a cloud-based software as a service (SaaS) platform for policy and compliance management from PowerDMS. The software will be used to disseminate policies, general orders, training documentation, and maintain Criminal Justice Information Systems standards. The contract term is 3 years, and the estimated dollar amount is $120,000. The justification for the single-source acquisition is that PowerDMS is the only vendor that can provide the combination of services to meet the agency's integration, security, and accreditation requirements.

The document states that there are no known authorized software resellers that can provide the same services as PowerDMS. Prospective vendors must provide information regarding their ability to supply the requested services by March 24, 2023. If it is determined that the services are only available from a single source, the agency will provide notice of its intended decision to enter a single-source purchase contract.
