About this file

This document is an ADOT (Arizona Department of Transportation) Procurement attachment regarding Confidentiality and Trade Secrets, specifically detailing Rule R2-7-103 for handling confidential information in procurement processes. The document outlines procedures for asserting and managing confidential or proprietary information during state procurement submissions.

The attachment provides a comprehensive framework for how confidential information is treated during procurement, including requirements for submitting confidential information claims, the agency chief procurement officer's responsibilities in reviewing such claims, and the process for determining whether submitted information qualifies as confidential. Key provisions include the need for submitters to provide a supporting statement when claiming trade secrets, clear designation of confidential information, and a structured review process that allows for challenges to confidentiality determinations through the state procurement administrator.
