About this file

This is a Federal Required Certification document applicable to the City of Pasadena Public Works Department's windshield replacement and repair services contract opportunity in California. The certification pertains to compliance with federal lobbying restrictions as outlined in 44 C.F.R. Part 18, Appendix A. The document requires the contractor's authorized official to certify that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be paid to influence federal officers, members of Congress, or congressional employees in connection with the awarding of this federal contract or any related modifications. Additionally, the contractor must disclose any non-federal funds used for lobbying purposes by submitting Standard Form-LLL if applicable.

The contractor must include the certification language in all subaward documents and require subrecipients to certify and disclose accordingly. This certification constitutes a material representation of fact and is a prerequisite for contract execution under section 1352, title 31, U.S. Code. Failure to submit the required certification subjects the contractor to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per violation. The contractor certifies the truthfulness and accuracy of all statements and acknowledges that provisions of 31 U.S.C. Chapter 38 regarding administrative remedies for false claims and statements apply to this certification and any related disclosures.
