About this file
This is Contract Amendment No. 48 to the Central Arizona Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility (ASP-CACF) contract between the State of Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation, and Reentry and GEO Secure Services, LLC. The amendment, dated August 4, 2023, was executed by Contract Officer David Brackney and modifies the existing contract 040176DC under ADCRR Tracking No. 040176DC. The contractor, GEO Secure Services, LLC, is headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida.
The amendment addresses the deployment of electronic health record (EHR) system infrastructure and support services at ASP-CACF in conjunction with ADCRR's healthcare provider, NaphCare, Inc. GEO will assume responsibility for maintenance and support of ADCRR-owned computers, while NaphCare will deploy TechCare® EHR software and provide ongoing support through a tiered help desk structure. The amendment specifies delivery of ten Dell Latitude 5400 laptops and one Dell Optiplex 7460 AIO desktop computer to CACF, all to remain ADCRR property. Key service components include application customization, pharmacy and laboratory system interfaces, data conversion of active patient records, training materials, and ongoing software updates. NaphCare will provide 24/7 support through Tier 1 (on-site super users), Tier 2 (help desk escalation), and Tier 3 (final escalation) support services. The deployment target was the 2023 calendar year, subject to ASP-CACF staff participation, infrastructure readiness, and data migration preparation.
