About this file

Amendment No. 49 to Contract No. 040176DC is a contract amendment between the Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADC) and The GEO Group, Inc. for the provision, operation, and management of a Secure Contracted Bed Facility (CACF). The amendment was executed on November 5, 2025, by Amber Martin, Executive Vice President of The GEO Group, Inc.

The amendment modifies Section 9.3, Per Diem Rate, by decreasing the daily per-bed rate by $12.14, from $84.03 to $71.89 per bed per day. This reduction reflects the removal of the "8.0 – Building" component ($12.14) from the fee schedule due to the transfer of facility ownership to the State of Arizona. The rate adjustment became effective October 30, 2025. The revised fee schedule itemizes costs across 14 major categories including employee personal services ($38.38), employer-related expenses ($7.70), inmate-related professional services ($8.04), food costs ($2.99), operating expenses ($8.64), insurance ($1.83), machinery and equipment ($0.18), general and administrative fees ($3.09), and overhead fees ($3.15). All other contract requirements, specifications, terms, and conditions remain unchanged.
