About this file

This document is a Description of Intended Single Source Purchase (PUR 7776) issued by the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC). The FDC is seeking a cloud-based mobile application that can track the location of Probation Officers via GPS and notify the FDC of their locations, either through flexible or timed check-ins. The application must also include additional features such as panic alarms, professional monitoring, and Geotab integration. The intended single source for this contract is Ok Alone - A PEOPLESAFE Company, located in Victoria, BC, Canada. The contract term is three (3) years, with an estimated annual value of $300,000.

The justification for the single source acquisition is that Ok Alone's Lone Worker Application is the only app on the market with an existing partnership and integration with Geotab, a location monitoring service that will monitor both the Officer's vehicle and the Officer. The FDC has completed the necessary steps to confirm the unavailability of competition for this requirement.
