About this file

This is a delivery schedule document issued by the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Institution in Tallahassee, Florida, outlining four distinct delivery schedule options for food service vendors. Vendors bidding on this solicitation must select and adhere to one of the following schedules: Schedule #1 requires a single shipment delivery between August 1-31, 2026; Schedule #2 requires two deliveries with the first between August 1-30, 2026 and the second between September 15-30, 2026; Schedule #3 requires three equal shipments with deliveries between July 1-15, August 15-30, and September 15-30, 2026; and Schedule #4 requires weekly deliveries split into 13 shipments delivered each Monday-Tuesday from July 6 through September 29, 2026, with produce due Mondays and bread, milk, and eggs due Tuesdays, with delivery windows between 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM. All deliveries must occur on business days only, with no weekend or federal holiday deliveries, and the contract period covers July 1 through September 30, 2026.

The document specifies strict compliance requirements and performance standards. All deliveries must be palletized and wrapped; non-frozen perishable foods must arrive at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit while frozen foods must be at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below; and any products showing signs of thawing will be rejected. The institution reserves the right to adjust quantities with one week's notice and conditional receipt allows a three-day examination and testing period, with rejected items to be picked up by vendors at their expense within two weeks or subject to disposal. Performance issues, including missed delivery dates or specification failures, will be documented and may result in future award decisions being unfavorably impacted. The Food Service Administrator, Kai Davis, is the primary contact for all delivery schedule inquiries, and vendors are instructed to direct any questions to kdavis@bop.gov rather than contacting the accounting department.
