About this file
This is a Buy American Certificate form (FAR 52.225-2, October 2022) used as a compliance document for federal contractors responding to government solicitations. The certificate requires offerors to certify whether each end product supplied is domestic or foreign, with specific documentation requirements for both categories. For domestic end products, offerors must identify any that contain critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. For foreign end products that do not consist wholly or predominantly of iron or steel, offerors must indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content, with an exception for commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS) items.
The form functions as a template with designated sections for line item numbers corresponding to foreign end products (requiring country of origin and domestic content percentage data) and domestic end products containing critical components. This certificate applies to the solicitation 36C25926Q0386 for a Computerized Vascular Diagnostic System for Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 19. The quote deadline is April 24, 2026, and the solicitation includes a small business set-aside. Compliance with this Buy American provision is mandatory for all offerors, with evaluation conducted in accordance with FAR Part 25 policies and procedures.
