About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation Number FA930225Q0081, addressing a flooring replacement project. The Q&A covers key details about the contract's scope and performance requirements, including that the contractor will remove and install new flooring after 5pm on weekdays and during weekends, with the building unoccupied during work. The project does not require painting, moving all office equipment, or returning demolished materials, though the contractor must provide dumpsters and coordinate with the Government Project Manager before starting work.

Specific project details include working hours of 5pm-10pm Monday-Friday and 6am-3:30pm on weekends, using a specific snap-together and glued-down flooring that cannot be substituted, and leaving cubicles in place with individual items secured. Room 130 is excluded from the work, no moisture barrier is needed, and the contractor has discretion in determining staffing levels. The contractor is recommended to use base waste management for debris removal and must complete the project within the specified performance period.
