Question and Answer Set #7
I received another question from our cabinet manufacturer, I have attached redacted drawer layout drawings that you can provide to the engineer at your discretion:
“It is not possible to provide 8 drawers at 6” min in the cabinet size requested. We can provide seven 6- 1/4” and one 3” drawer. We could also provide a configuration of seven 5-3/8” drawers and one 8-1/2” drawer. Please let us know if either of these configurations would be acceptable.”
The contractor shall provide as many drawers as possible that are equal height and with a minimum height of 6”each, per cabinet. In the case of this manufacturer, providing 7 drawers at ~6” and an 8th drawer at 3” will be acceptable, as long as general cabinet dimensions are met from the specifying AF drawing.
