About this file

This solicitation seeks proposals for an access control system replacement at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center requires a solution to monitor and control access to 327 doors across 14 buildings, replacing an existing AccessNsite system running on a Quintron server. The new system must provide the same or enhanced capabilities. All software installations will be performed by the contractor with government oversight. The NAICS code is 238210 and the opportunity is set aside 100% for small businesses. Offerors should attend an optional site visit on February 22, 2023 to tour the installation and obtain a visitor pass by contacting Micah Shoaf with identification details by February 20. Proposals are due by the date specified in the solicitation documents.

QA3

2. We only need 4 hours of backup power/UPS so the doors/controls can stay active long enough for the government's backup generators to turn on. For the server, we'll likely going to ask for 8 hours of back up.

3. Dual Factor it should be a basic capability built in unless not needed (e.g., a utility closet). It will be required on all secure rooms, external doors, command suites... FPCON changes and other security protocols that will initiate a need for dual factor.

4. We will need maps showing where each major component is, readers, controllers, and network devices such as fiber modules, media converters Etc. Things I don't believe we'll need maps of would be the fiber lines and power lines.

5. The overall goal is for as little downtime as possible per building. If the legacy system can remain functional for buildings later down the line of the installation, they can be offline but remain functional via their controller, which would be acceptable. As individual buildings are completed, they should become functional as soon as completed.
