FA8601-16-R-0006 Dormitory Maintenance Additional Questions & Answers 21 Dec 2015

1 - Reference: Solicitation, Attachment 2, Instructions to Offerors, Page 2, item 3(b), the statement “For Volume II, submit the Pricing Exhibit/Attachment as both a PDF document and as a Microsoft Excel file.”

Comment: The current pricing form in the solicitation appears to be the Bid Schedule as a continuation of the SF1449 in MS Word format, and there does not appear to be a separate Pricing Exhibit such as an ELIN schedule in MS Excel format.

Question: Was it the Government’s intent to publish an ELIN schedule in MS Excel format? If not, and since the only pricing document in the proposal would be the Bid Schedule in MS Word format, would the Government please eliminate the requirement for a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet file to be provided?

Government Response: Language has been removed from Instructions to Offerors.

2 - Reference: Solicitation, Attachment 2, Instructions to Offerors, Page 3, item d(i), the statement “Pages in each volume shall be numbered sequentially by volume, i.e. I-1, I-2, etc.”

Comment: Sequential page numbering works fine on Volume I, Technical, however Volume II, Price & Offer Documentation is comprised of a series of pre-numbered documents including the SF1449, SF30s, Representations and Certifications, and the Bid Schedule.

Question: Would it be acceptable to the Government to use divider pages to separate each of the forms included in Volume II, Price & Offer Documentation, and to not place other page numbers on the forms in addition to the pre-assigned page numbers already on the forms?

Government Response:

Language has been removed from Instructions to Offerors. No need to re-number already numbered pages of the solicitation.
