Text version

1. Interested Party Asks: The third paragraph on page 3 of the solicitation says the following: A public bid opening will be held on 6 October 2014 (2:00 PM) at Bldg 893 Twin Base Golf Course, Area A, Wright-

Patterson AFB. This building can be accessed at the entrance to Gate 16A on SR-444. Any Bids submitted after 1:30 PM on 6 October 2014 shall be delivered to this location. Block 13 on the form 1442 indicates that proposals are due on September 26, 2014 at 2 PM. Please clarify when proposals are due.

Response: It is the government’s intention to hold the bid opening on 26 September 2014 at 2 PM.

An amendment will be forthcoming to clarify the bid opening date and time.

2. Interested Party Asks: The bid schedule details specific quantities with regards to each task. Will these be minimum orders placed at each individual location or would the successful offer be required to replace smaller quantities at the larger proposed price? For example, if our proposed price on our bid schedule for 0001AX

Remove Sidewalk was $10.00 dollars a square foot for 5,000 square feet are we required by the bid schedule to replace 100 square feet at $10.00 a square foot for a total project cost of $1,000.00?

Response: The bid schedule list reflects quantities that the Government is estimating to use during the course of time. Contractors should NOT treat this as a minimum required or guaranteed to the contractor. When task orders are issued from the IDIQ contract, the contractor will be required to provide the quantity listed in the task order at the price on their bid schedule for the quantity that the

Government requires at that time. At the end of the contract performance period the quantities may exceed or may not exceed the quantities listed on the bid schedule list.
