F-16 PAINT TAIL STAND

QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES 3

Question:

Fasteners – Many of the Hex head screws are calling for a 3A thread. Can you provide a spec/mil std for each? Any 2B & 2A fastener can be matched up with a McMaster part but not the 3A Hex Heads. One of the key things we are looking for is the finish required on the fasteners.

Response:

2A for external threads is acceptable for the hex head fasteners.

Zinc plated hex bolts are acceptable
