Industry Questions and Answers Synopsis # FA8123-19-R-3021 Question- 1: When do you expect the solicitation to be issued?

Answer- 1: We estimate in the next 30 to 60 days.

Question-2: What will be the Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for the three years of the contract?

Answer-2: We are estimating around 45 TTU-595 Test Sets for the first ordering period. Estimated 3-4 additional Test Sets for the follow on orders, with additional requirements for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) if requested.

Question-3: Has the Gov’t addressed all obsolescence issues of the TTU-595 or will the contract include an engineering effort to resolve obsolescence and DMS issues?

Answer-3: No, the Government has not addressed all obsolescence issues. The solicitation will include CDRLs that address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and Obsolescence Alert Notice.
