About this file
This award notice is for a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to supply MJU-52A/B devices. The contractor will provide 320 first article units within 180 days of award for testing and approval, after which additional units may be ordered in quantities of zero under various line items for delivery within 365 days to military installations in Indiana and Utah. Accompanying technical data is required under separate line items in accordance with DD Form 1423. The justification cites the need for supplies from a limited number of responsible sources, as the government lacks sufficient data to procure the part elsewhere and a first article test is necessary. The awarded contractor is Alloy Surfaces Company for provision to the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Hill Air Force Base.
