Request for Information Thunderbolt Life-cycle Program Support (TLPS) Contract Rates Adjustment Approach 8 September 2008
The Air Force is considering an alternate approach to the rates adjustment procedures for the TLPS Contract. A revised H clause and rates adjustments examples describing the approach are posted in conjunction with this request for information. The Air Force requests parities interested in competing for the TLPS contract provide feedback regarding the alternate approach.
The current approach and the alternate approach are not contrasted here. Specific details of the current approach can be found in the most recent Draft RFP posted to www.fbo.gov. The most significant difference between the current approach and the alternate approach is adjustment based on revised forecasts (current approach) or adjustment based on actual data versus the original forecast (alternate approach).
The Air Force will use feedback received from industry in the decision process. The Air Force is in the late stages of RFP preparation and anticipates releasing an RFP as soon as possible (pending approvals); therefore, your feedback is requested as soon as possible but no later than 11 September 2008. Responses should be sent via email to andrew.hatch@hill.af.mil.
Questions or comments regarding this request for information and/or associated postings should be addressed to the TLPS Contracting Officer, Andrew Hatch, at andrew.hatch@hill.af.mil .
