16. REMARKS

1. Blocks 10-13: FOD Plan will be submitted to Government COR no later than 30 days after contract award date. Contractor format acceptable.

2. FOD Plan. The contractor’s compliance with stated plan will be monitored and inspected by the contract QAP/COR. The CO will notify the contractor of acceptance or required modifications to the plan before the contract start date. The contractor shall make appropriate modifications, at no additional cost to the government, and obtain acceptance of the plan by the CO before the start of the first operational performance period. The government will monitor contractor compliance of the FOD Plan and notify the contractor when discrepancies are noted.

3. Content: The FOD plan shall address, but not be limited to, the following:

a. FOD Inspections

b. Material Handling

c. Tool Control

d. Property Accountability

e. Reporting/ Investigating

f. Employee Training

g. Awareness and Employee Feedback

Note: Electronic copies will be accepted by e-mail.

4. DISTRIBUTION STATEMENT D: Distribution authorized to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors only to protect technical or operational data or information from automatic dissemination under the International Exchange Program or by other means. This protection covers publications required solely for official use or strictly for administrative or operational purposes. This statement may be applied to manuals, pamphlets, technical orders, technical reports, and other publications containing valuable technical or operational data. Date of determination: 28 April 2014. Other requests shall be referred to 75 OSS/OSC 801-777-3811
