Site Visit Notes from 9/3/08 and 9/4/08.

Attached also is the sign in sheet for both days.

The laundry is weighed on the scales every morning. Normally, the cart and item together are weighed and then the cart’s weight is subtracted to get a total of laundry.

Linens are purchased from either MedLine or American Hotel.

Picks are in accordance with the workload estimates in appendix D of the Performance-Based Work Statement. If items are picked up on Monday, they should be returned on Wednesday and so forth. If there is a holiday that is not normally expected, there will be roughly two or so weeks advanced noticed about the pick/delivery.

There is on average 1 soiled cart. Suggested to log soiled and clean

The returned clean laundry can be returned by the linen closet in the basement of the building by the docks.

Sometimes there is missing poundage when returned. The normal variance is between 10 and 20%.
