Question Set #4: In regards to the changes that have been made the have specified and NEMA L14-30 on one end but it does not specify what the exact plug type is needed on the other end of the Cord. There should be a NEM number the customer can provide. Can the customer also provide the NEMA configuration that is needed on the trailer side as well.
As for the connection between the power cord and the trailer, our requirement is that it be water / weather proof and all 8 power cords need to be interchangeable between all trailers, so sockets and plugs must match. I do not know which plugs are compatible with handling the capacity that is required for the trailer, and would be a water / weather proof plug / socket setup that can handle 30 amps and match the wiring of the cord and trailer would be sufficient.
