Question Round #2

1. Regarding the 100A panel….do you mean a 100A main breaker?

Yes, current trailers have a 100A panel.

2. Why are you requesting a 100A main breaker with a 20A rated plug? A 20A rated plug with a 20A rated draw couldn’t power a window A/C unit rated at 30A? We have found that this AC/Heater window unit requires a LCDI 6-30P plug.

Currently we have to plug into Air Force Lightall power/lighting generators using the 220V connection.

3. Is this a 3 phase system (confused on the capping off the 3rd hot leg because it states “if necessary”?

Currently we have to plug into Air Force Lightall power/lighting generators using the 220V connection. The power cords that are in use currently have an extra "leg" capped inside the main breaker box.

4. The Hubbell HBL3521C is not water/weather proof and it is stated that it must be? It is non-NEMA and has an IP20 rating which means it has no protection at all against liquids.

That is what is currently in use on the trailers we have now.
