Industry Site Visit Purpose Provide Industry with an overview of the T-1A Training program Communicate the requirement of a replacement avionics suite for the T-1A Aircraft, Operational Flight Trainer, and Part Task Trainer Impart to Industry a clear understanding of this requirement Understand Industry concerns, questions, and receive recommendations
Supports Advanced Phase of Training for both Pilot and CSO SUPT (Pilot) - 120 Training Days Aircraft: 43 sorties – 77.7 hrs Simulator: 21 sorties – 53.6 hrs UCT (CSO) – 132 Training Days Aircraft: 19 sorties – 30.3 hrs Simulator: 5 sorties – 6.5 hrs Major Training Areas Transition: Patterns/landings, area maneuvers Navigation: Enroute procedures, instrument approaches, low level Mission Familiarization: Basic Formation, Air Refueling, Air Drop T-1A Training
T-1A Simulators 16 Operational Flight Trainers (OFTs) Used for procedure training prior to aircraft events Network capable, hi-def vis for low levels Synthetic vs aircraft parts
2 OFTs at NAS Pensacola are equipped with CSO modification

General Program Requirements Integration Engineering Aircraft Modification at Contractor facility Work with Military Certification Office (MCO) Testing:
FAA Certified Solution Contractor Responsibility Testing of military specific items may be required OFT modification performed at MOB Technical Order and Flight Manual updates Commercial operational and maintenance manuals for OFT & PTT
