Text version

1. If any, what are the requirement changes from the current contract to the services being solicited?

The only changes from the last requirement to this one is the vehicle age requirement, and the requirement to be able to obtain a security clearance.

2. Reference PWS Paragraph 1.1.1.5: The paragraph states the Contractor will possess the ability to provide lavatory services for all aircraft listed in Appendix F, Workload Estimates. Will the contractor be allowed to use on base authorized hazwaste facilities or will lavatory cart waste be required to be disposed of at an off base facility?

The contractor will be allowed to use the on base authorized hazardous waste facility.

3. Reference PWS Paragraph 1.4.1: The paragraph outlines the transient alert control function and the hours of operation. Please confirm this function is to be manned at all times during the stated hours of operation.

There is to be a person available for this function, but that doesn't mean a person has to be physically in the chair. They can perform other functions, but it must be manned.

4. Reference PWS Paragraph 1.5 through 1.7.1.5: The paragraphs outline the services to be provided by the Transient Alert function. Please confirm that the Government intends these services to comply with a 2-person minimum for safety during all hours of operation.

Yes, the 2-person minimum for safety is the standard for the duty hours listed.

5. It is not explicitly stated, so I want to ask, operations for HAZWASTE disposal (and potable water services) require access to potable water. I'm assuming that the Service Provider will also be allowed use of potable water on the installation as a Government-furnished service.

The water is provided by the government, the contractor just provides the cart/equipment.
