Response-1: Corian "Juniper" color or "equal to from another manufacturer" will be suitable.

Submission-2: AD102 mentions abating all existing asbestos tile in the facility. Is there an asbestos report available?

Response-2: Yes. See attachment labelled “Asbestos Survey and Lead-Based Paint Sampling Report (April 18, 2017)” now posted.

Submission-3: Is it acceptable to submit completed CCASS/CPARS in lieu of the Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) document provided?

Response-3: No, CCASS/CPARS report is not an acceptable alternative to the PPQ.

Submission-4: Subgrade Stabilization, Drawing Reference/Detail C2/C- 501 - We would like to substitute the 8” Lime Treatment with 8” of Flex Base. Such a small area and Lime would really make a mess.

Response-4: Disapproved. All work will be completed as designed and according to specifications.

Submission-5: Sheet AE401 indicates that the kitchen appliances are GFCI. Specification 11 31 13 lists appliances and submittal requirements for those. Are we to include the cost of purchasing the appliances in our proposal?

Response-5: The appliances with the GFCI note shall be provided by the government and installed by the contractor. The contractor does not need to provide a submittal for materials.

The contractor needs to account for the labor and material cost to install the specified appliances.

Per sheet M-102, the contractor shall provide and install stainless steel hood over range.

Submission-6: Is there an existing SCADA system in the facility that needs to be removed and re-installed?

Response-6: There is no SCADA involved in the project, but HVAC controls are to be demo'd and new controls included with the new HVAC systems per design/spec. Utility metering and Fire Alarm monitoring systems shall be installed and connected per design/ spec.

Submission-7:

7-1-We have a kitchen equipment spec, however the furniture plan says its GFCI. Confirm.

Response- The appliances with the GFCI note shall be provided by the government and installed by the contractor. The contractor does not need to provide a submittal for appliances. The contractor needs to account for the labor and material cost to install the specified appliances.

7-2-Systems Furniture-Revision strikes all scope other than the infrastructure. Confirm Systems Furniture is Government Furnished.

Response- Bid according to the edited specs sections provided (2.11.3.2; 2.11.5; 2.11.5; 2.11.6) Systems furniture is government provided.

7-3-Section 25 50 00.00 20, Cybersecurity of facility-related control systems. Is this part of the scope?

Response- Yes, per specs, this is part of the scope.

7-4-Are there any sole-source requirements for our scope of work?

Response- No sole source.

Response-8: The roof decking is metal, but may not be easily visible in pictures due to insulation.

Submission-9: Telecom sheet TN401, sheet keynote #3 indicates a ladder rack system in Comm Room 155 at a height of 10’ AFF. It does not indicate any other ladder rack in this room. Telecom sheet TN601, sheet keynote #17 indicates a ladder rack system in Comm Room 155 at a height of 6” above the racks, which would make it 6’6” AFF. It does not indicate any other ladder rack in this room. Which height is correct? Or does the customer expect 2 layers of ladder rack system in Comm Room 155, one at each height?

Response-9: Bid according to plans TN601, Keynote 17, “minimum of 6 inches above telecommunications racks.”
