FA667519RA005 – B1654 RENOVATION
RFI Submissions and Responses
Submission-1: The Corian Aqualite spec'd on AF001 is a discontinued product. There does not appear to be "equal to" from any manufacturer. Is there another color/type you would like price instead?
Response-1: Corian "Juniper" color or "equal to from another manufacturer" will be suitable.
Submission-2: AD102 mentions abating all existing asbestos tile in the facility. Is there an asbestos report available?
Response-2: Yes. See attachment labelled “Asbestos Survey and Lead-Based Paint Sampling Report (April 18, 2017)” now posted.
Submission-3: Is it acceptable to submit completed CCASS/CPARS in lieu of the Past Performance Questionnaire (PPQ) document provided?
Response-3: No, CCASS/CPARS report is not an acceptable alternative to the PPQ.
Submission-4: Subgrade Stabilization, Drawing Reference/Detail C2/C- 501 - We would like to substitute the 8” Lime Treatment with 8” of Flex Base. Such a small area and Lime would really make a mess.
Response-4: Disapproved. All work will be completed as designed and according to specifications.
