The purpose of this amendment is to:

1. Provide Q&A from site visit held on 28 August at 10:00am at RAF Lakenheath Hospital (Bldg 932) in regards to the subject solicitation.

2. The deadline to submit questions remains unchanged; questions in response to the solicitation are due NLT 02 September 2020 @ 1630 hours (BST).

3. The response deadline remains unchanged; quotes in response to the solicitation are due NLT 07 September 2020 @ 1630 hours (BST).

1. Do the monitors need to be mounted on the wall?

Yes.

2. Is information being printed directly from each Phillips monitor?

No, there is a designated printer station for all monitors.

3. Is there an interactive review station for each of the monitors?

No, there are separate review stations.

4. What’s the Hospital network compatibility?

5. Do the current wall mounts have to have a rotating arm?

Yes, easier mobility.

6. Do the monitors have to be portable? If they can be, sure, but ER already has portable pro-packs and sol monitors. *Verify with technical expert.*

Is there an interest for a direct way to upload information to the monitors instead of manually uploading at the central station?

It can surely help.

Is the configuration of the monitors to be the same (plug ins)?

Yes.

9. How should the monitors be powered? They must be battery powered for a minimum of 5 hours. But can have a longer battery life.

10. Can the monitors be a bigger size? No, they are preferred the same size as the current ones.

11. What is the current way of uploading information into the monitors?

Manually uploaded to the central station

12. Can the model type of the monitors be upgraded to a different model?

No, just in need of newer monitors same model.

13. Can the monitors be mounted on top of the entire system?

No, they are to remain on the side with a swivel as it allows easier mobility.

14. Is there an induction room for the Operations Room?

No.

15. Will Labor and Delivery require replacement of their Patient Monitor?

No, they are no longer part of this requirement.

MSU/SCU Room

16. What method is used to connect the monitors to the network?

A LAN cable, it is hardwired.

17. What is the current telemetry method of coverage?

Each room has their designated telemetry monitoring.

18. Is remote telemetry units acceptable for easier transportation?

Yes.

19. What is the current telemetry network connected to?

It is currently hardwired to the central server.

20. Where is the telemetry system located? Telemetry server is in the same building as where it is being used.
