REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

COMMAND POST IDS AND CCTV FA524019Q0061

1. Can we use the existing Magna Lock on the existing door(s)?

Yes.

2. Is the system required to be tied in with 36th Security Force or is this a stand-alone system?

Both the IDS and the CCTV system should be tied into Security Forces.

3. Does the system require a Video Server or would a stand-alone NVR/DVR be okay?

As long as it is from the same manufacturer as on the approved listed for the cameras. I.e.

Pelco camera with Pelco NVR/DVR. NVR/DVR will achieve the purpose of this PWS.

4. Vendor is requesting an extension, to allow the questions to be answered and allow for our suppliers to provide a quote?

An extension request will be granted. Please give us an estimated extension time that would work for you and we will do our best to accommodate.

5. Please clarify the 30 delivery schedule of equipment upon award of contract and the vendor must order the equipment no later than 30 days after notification.

Per Paragraph 7.1 All equipment, tools, and materials needed for installation must be ordered by the contractor/vendor no later than 30 days after notification of award of this contract.

Per Para 7.3 The contractor is required to install the requirement per the award document, this performance work statement, and any applicable/appropriate regulations within 20 duty days following the Governments written acceptance of all equipment.

This shall be understood to mean “Upon Contractor receipt of all equipment from their suppliers AND the Government’s written acceptance of all equipment, the Contractor must begin installation within 20 days”.

6. How long is the project time line (period of performance)?

45 days from beginning of install, the Final testing (ref para 3.1) shall begin.

7. Do the cameras have to report to SFS?

See Question 2.

8. If not, do the cameras have to be on the approved products list?

All Equipment shall be on the Approved Products List.

9. Does the DVR/NVR have to be on the approved products list?

See question 3.

10. Please clarify, does the vault have to have a panel separate from the main Vindicator panel or will the vault have sensors attached to the main Vindicator panel?

The answer to this question will be posted as soon as it is received.
