About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers file for a carpet installation project at Building 4859 on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Key details include a carpet installation requirement with specific preferences for high-traffic grey and black patterned carpet tiles, 4-inch rubber cove base, and existing furniture movement. The carpet material must be stain-resistant and able to withstand heavy traffic and rolling chairs, with installation planned for an existing concrete substrate. Installation will specifically cover all rooms, with carpet tiles to be installed on stairs in Room 123.

The associated federal contract opportunity is a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside Request for Quotation (RFQ) FA487725QA470 for fiscal year 2025. The solicitation is for a firm-fixed price purchase order for carpet installation at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Important dates include a question submission deadline of 10 July 2025 at 2:00 PM ET and a quote submission deadline of 18 July 2025 at 2:00 PM ET. The government will evaluate quotes based on technical capability, estimated completion timeline, and price, with the intent to award to the most advantageous responsive quotation.
