Questions and Answers

1.) In coordinating with your IT department to disconnect and re-connect computers, how much lead time do they require?

Per IT, they need about 1 week notice to relocate the computers.

2.) Will IT department be responsible for disconnecting and re-connecting the kick alarm and push button alarm?

Per Security Forces, the kick alarm can be temporarily turned off while the area is being demoed, etc. The customer needs to call the same day or the day before if weekend work is to be done.

Unfortunately the box cannot be removed as it is hardwired into the floor.

3.) Once IT department disconnects computer equipment, will they remove it to storage?

The IT department will be temporarily relocated the computer stuff, but not the CCTV equipment. I am awaiting response from out CCTV POC located in California as to what we can do about that portion.

4.) Did you want the counter top to match the color of the counters behind the reception desk?

The counter doesn't necessarily have to match the existing behind the counter. A light brown, oak, pine, tan color would work.

5.) You mentioned that the colors should be light/ neutral to match the surrounding area. Did you have anything in particular in mind?

Similar to the above, light brown, oak, pine, tan color would work.

4.) I did not see a bid form in the package; shall we submit on our form?

Correct. There is no bid form; you may submit your own form.

5.) Please clarify wages as I did not notice in documentation if this is Davis-Bacon wages.

This project has been designated as a commodity, therefore wage rates won't apply. Please take this into consideration when quoting.
