For non-Harris/non-Motorola brand of Land Mobile Radios, a sample unit (full working radio) will be requested after quote evaluation to ensure that it meets the encryption and base wireless requirements and the above specifications.
The sample will be tested to verify that the P25 link layer authentication, the Single-Key DES Encryption, and 256-AES Encryption are all up to the standard set and also to ensure that they are able to link the new radio to the current trunk system on Cannon AFB
