Questions and answers
• Will personal property be removed by others?
Yes all items will be removed from the area.
• Will file drawers be emptied by Government personnel to prevent racking of the cabinets?
Yes all files in drawers will be removed.
• Will use of the public restrooms be allowed or will portable toilets be required?
Contractors can use public restrooms.
• Is the carpet over existing VCT? If so, has the VCT and mastic been tested for asbestos?
To the best of CE’s knowledge no.
• Is there any lead containing paint on the walls?
No there is no lead on the paint
• Is there a place in the building to store the new floor tile (so it can acclimate to room temperature and humidity?
There will be NO floor tile installed, only thing is carpet and LVT.
• Will any extra carpet/LVT/Wall Base be required for turn over to the customer?
Yes we would like to keep some extra carpet tiles if there is excess.
