480th ISRG Beautification

12 September 2024

1. The attached document's Google map link does not resolve to the area of concern as described in the Statement of Work. Looking for the linear feet measurements for the concrete edging about the three sides of each building.

Government response: Here is an updated link to our campus: https://www.google.com/maps/@33.4165997,- 82.1421676,183m/data=!3m1!1e3!5m1!1e4?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI0MDkxMC4wIKXMDSoAS AFQAw%3D%3D . If you right click on the map it will give you the option to measure distance.

2. Is the whole scope of this project within the zone 1.

Government response: Yes, Zone 1 is the only area contractors will need to focus on for this requirement.

3. Regarding 1.2.1 ZONE 1, which includes Buildings 28437, 28438, 28439, 28440, 28441, 28442, and the AF Pavilion, I understand you are looking to expand the area to incorporate picnic tables.

Could you kindly confirm how you would like this area to be designed?

Government response: Government response: Attached is a picture of Zone 1 with the AF Pavilion outlined in yellow. We already have picnic tables that are on the grassy parts around the Pavilion in this yellow highlighted area. The intention is to remove the edging of the small beds currently around the Pavilion. Extend the beds out far enough on the North, West, and South sides to accommodate all existing picnic tables. The goal is to not have the tables sitting on grass so we don’t have to worry about moving tables to mow. The material in this bed will be slate gravel in order to stand up to the traffic that will be in that area.
