A system capability can be developed to manage stock levels and replenishment recommendations, with DPG’s identifying each time a part is consumed from local working stock inventory. This system shall be dependent on each DPG/location entering consumption data into the system.

A – Yes, the IPMS maintains each location’s local inventory requirements. As items are used, it’s each DPG has responsibility to identify and maintain supportable levels.

Q - “A working stock program by location, established fill levels, and a simplified re-fill process to include prevention of item duplication and COR approval of any changes to working stock fill levels or adding/removing items.” Please clarify “A working stock program by location…” this statement, it is unclear regarding the specific requirements and open to interpretation:

1) Q - Is the contractor supplied system required to maintain the working stock levelby location?
A- Yes
2) Q - Alternatively, is it the intent that the IPMS shall refill stock base on historicalorder rates.
A – No, refills will be managed by the DGP’s as items are utilized. The systemtracks and lets the DPG’s know when levels are diminishing.

A - Yes, this responsibility falls to each location, DGP’s will have the IPMS inplace to manage proper input of use of products.

28. Q - “Integration and data sharing / data import and export capability with the Governments On Line Vehicle Integrated Management System (OLVIMS)”. Please clarify OLVIMS Section 1.17.

A- OLVIMs is another vehicle data base required by ACC to manage vehicle Maintenance. Section 1.17 outlines the file format that the IPMS must provide this data so the OLVIMs computer can read it.

Section 1.17 mentions work order master file, delayed maintenance report and high cost bench stock listing, no format or detail of these files is provided so we unsure what is involved in providing this functionality.

A-File format is outline in SOW, high cost bench stock is coded as H8888 and low cost is coded as L9999.

29. Q - One the fields (Section1.17) is bin location, contractor bin location is not relevant to the COR or DGP so does this mean that the contractor IPMS system maintains each location’s bin location by part number?

A-Yes

30. Q - “Vehicle application lookup by year/make/model for aftermarket parts”. Is this functionality limited to aftermarket parts maintained by the contractor in the IPMS system?

A –No, parts are not maintained by the contractor, this data base identifies aftermarket and OEM part numbers by application.
