QUESTION(S) & ANSWER(S)

SOLICITATION NUMBER: FA4626-16-Q-0022, Radio Relocation

Q1. Are construction drawings required for the cabinet placement and equipment placement at the

Garneill site by either the Government and or landlord?

A1. The drawing requirements are indicated in the SOO paragraph 4.9.

Q2. Are construction drawings required for the landlord/owner or other entity at the Garneill site?

A2. The drawing requirements are indicated in the SOO paragraph 4.9.

Q3. Has a height been selected and approved from the landlord at the Garneill site for the antennas?

A3. The expectation is that contractor will determine optimal antenna location as part of the engineering requirement of this effort. Approval will be negotiated by base communications personnel with appropriated entities.

Q4. Is a structural analysis required at the Garneill site?

A4. This effort requires engineering services outlined in the SOO paragraph 4.3. It is expected that any analysis required to accomplish this objective will be considered.

Q5. Will the government be doing permitting at the Garneill site for any required permits?

A5. The government will negotiate permissions and agreements with the site manager.

Q6. Will the government coordinate and communicate with the landlord for all required site communications; including and not limited to; structural analysis and approvals, antenna placement, cable, grounding, equipment installation, site access etc.?

A6. The government will coordinate with the site managers for contractor proposed engineering solutions.

Q7. Please provide the ceiling (interior floor to ceiling) height measurement at Garneill shelter. This is not in the Attachment (1).

A7. Please see SOO paragraph 2.1.3 Garneill Transmitter Site Data. Shelter interior dimensions are indicated in the first line of the second paragraph.
