Questions & Answers
QUESTION #4 – Please advise as to how our firm can hand deliver our response to the assigned address next Monday. It has been our experience that we cannot come on base without an appointment or escort.
ANSWER #4 - If you wish to hand deliver you will need to go to the West Gate and follow directions from Security Forces from there on. If you do decide to hand deliver, be sure you have a couple of contact numbers and show up well in advance for your proposals to be here on time, as going through the gate for first time and getting proper security clearances can possibly take quite a bit of time. Please be aware that having the proposal "just on base" won't be acceptable. In my own personal opinion I think it would be in your best interest to send in your proposal using certified mail.
QUESTION #5 – We frequently encounter confusion when the term "pages" are used. Some people equate one "page" to a single piece of paper which can be printed on the front and back. Other people equate one "page" as being one printed side of a piece of paper (meaning, a single piece of paper printed both sides is two pages). I'm assuming that when you say 24 pages maximum for the submittal that you are meaning 24 printed surfaces. Is this correct?
ANSWER #5 – No, When we say 1 page, we mean one physical piece of paper. Whether you use only one side or two sides, it is up to you. This does not mean that you can shrink the information to fit. Please note, you will not be disqualified for submitting more than 24 pages, but anything beyond 24 physical pieces of paper will not be considered.
QUESTION #6a – Is Part II of the SF 330 required and is it to be included in the total number of 24?
ANSWER #6a – Yes, you will at a minimum, fill out Part II for your firm. Yes this will be included in the number of pages.
QUESTION #6b - If so, it is required for EACH team member?
ANSWER #6b – Note that under Part II of the form there is subtext that says “If a firm has branch offices, complete for each specific branch office seeking work”. So to answer your question, if you mean a branch office or another firm that your partnered with when you say team member then our answer is yes. If you mean an actual person when you say team member, then our answer is no.
QUESTION #7a – Because the response is so limited, do you expect us to include only resumes for the prime and not the consultants?
ANSWER #7a – Please note that that Part 1, Block E subtext mentions that you will only fill this section out for key personnel. You may define key personnel as you see fit.
QUESTION #7b – For Part II, do we only include the prime?
ANSWER #7b – No, this is not just for the prime, please see answer #6b for additional information.
