BUILDING 8314 ELECTRICAL, COMMUNICATIONS AND DATA REQUIREMENTS

1. All of the room numbers and room names referenced in this document pertain to Guy Cecil's new requested configuration drawing.

2. Power strips are only authorized for plugging in computer equipment, and other items like lights and electric pencil sharpeners are not allowed to be plugged into computer power strips.

3. Room 106:

a. Each of the 14 modular workstations depicted will require one electrical receptacle capable of providing power to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, up to two flat panel monitors and a set of computer speakers plugged into it and one electrical receptacle with each modular workstation's single-bulb florescent task light plugged into it; each workstation will also require a telephone receptacle and a Local Area Network (LAN) data cable receptacle.

b. Some workstations will require a place to plug in an electric pencil sharpener.

c. One electrical receptacle is required approximately 2' to 3' from the southwest end of Room 106's northwest wall, that is capable of providing power to an Adams Marketing Associates, Inc. Model 390 cc, HSM 390.3 1368.143.X shredder which is marked 120V/60Hz, 12A, 1400W.

d. One electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required approximately 6' to 7' from the northwest end of Room 106's northeast wall, that are capable of providing power and network data connection to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CP3525x printer.

e. One electrical receptacle is required 5' 7" over from the northeast end of Room 106's southeast wall, and between 5' and 5' 11" up from the floor, that is capable of providing power to a wall-mounted 49" flat panel television; and an audiovisual receptacle is also required in the same approximate location to connect cable television.

4. Room 115:

a. The column located in the middle of Room 115's northeast wall has audiovisual cables running between a desktop computer and a ceiling mounted projector; an audiovisual receptacle or receptacles is/are needed to connect a VCR, a DVD player and a computer tower to the projector.

b. One electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required approximately 2' from the right side of the column located in the middle of Room 115's northeast wall, that are capable of providing power and network data connection to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, one flat panel monitor and a set of computer speakers plugged into it and electrical receptacles to plug in a VCR and DVD player.

c. One duplex electrical receptacle is required approximately 4' from the northeast end of Room 115's southeast wall, that is capable of providing power to a Canon Color Image Runner Model C3480 compact business hub/copier and an Adams Marketing Associates, Inc. Model 390 cc, HSM 390.3 1368.143.X shredder which is marked 120V/60Hz, 12A, 1400W.

d. One new telephone receptacle is required to connect a teleconference style telephone near the middle of Room 115's conference table.

5. Rooms 117 and 118:

a. Each of these rooms will require at least one duplex electrical receptacle on each wall capable of providing power to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, two flat panel monitors and a set of computer speakers plugged into it; and a florescent task light. Each of these rooms will also require one telephone and LAN data receptacle on each wall.

b. One duplex electrical receptacle capable of providing power to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CM3530fs MFP printer and a Brother IntelliFax Model 2900 fax machine, and a telephone receptacle are required in Room 117.

6. Room 123:

a. Each of the 10 modular workstations depicted will require one electrical receptacle capable of providing power to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, up to two flat panel monitors and a set of computer speakers plugged into it and one electrical receptacle with each modular workstation's single-bulb florescent task light plugged into it; each workstation will also require a telephone receptacle and a LAN data receptacle.

c. One duplex electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required approximately 3' from the northeast end of Room 123's southeast wall, that are capable of providing power and network data connection to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CP3525x printer and an L C Industries powered by HSM Model 110800C shredder which is marked 110-120V, 2.8A, 440W.

d. One electrical receptacle is required approximately 4' from the northwest end of Room 123's northeast wall, that is capable of providing power to a Whirlpool Model ED5CHOXKO04 refrigerator.

e. One electrical receptacle is required approximately 4' from the northeast end of Room 123's northwest wall, that is capable of providing power to a microwave oven.

7. Room 123A:

a. Each of the two modular workstations depicted will require one electrical receptacle capable of providing power to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, up to two flat panel monitors and a set of computer speakers plugged into it and one electrical receptacle with each modular workstation's single-bulb florescent task light plugged into it; each workstation will also require a telephone receptacle and a LAN data receptacle.

c. One duplex electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required approximately 2' from the northeast end of Room 123A's northwest wall, that are capable of providing power and network data connection to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CP3525x printer and an L C Industries powered by HSM Model 110800C

shredder which is marked 110-120V, 2.8A, 440W.

d. One electrical receptacle is required approximately 6' over from the southwest end of Room 123A's southeast wall that is capable of providing power to a stand-mounted 39" flat panel television; and an audio visual receptacle is also required in the same approximate location to connect cable television.

8. Room 123B:

a. One duplex electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required on each wall capable of providing power and network data connection to a circuit breaker equipped power strip that will have a desktop computer tower, two flat panel monitors and a set of computer speakers plugged into it; and a florescent task light.

b. One double-duplex electrical receptacle, and one telephone and LAN data receptacle are required approximately 6' to 8' from the northwest end of Room 123B's northeast wall, that are capable of providing power, telephone and network data connection to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CP3525x printer, a Brother IntelliFax Model 2900 fax machine and an L C Industries powered by HSM Model 110800C shredder which is marked 110-120V, 2.8A, 440W.

9. Room 124:

a. One electrical receptacle and one LAN data receptacle are required approximately 2' from the right doorframe to Room 124A, on Room 124's northeast wall, that are capable of providing power and network data connection to an HP Color Laser Jet Model CP3525x printer.

b. One electrical receptacle is required 8' 11" over from the southeast end of Room 124A's exterior wall, on Room 124's northeast wall, and 3' 4" down from the ceiling, that is capable of providing power to a wall-mounted 46" flat panel television; and an audio visual receptacle is also required in the same approximate location to connect cable television.

c. After renovation work is executed, the same furniture will be returned to current locations in Room 124, so electrical, telephone and LAN data receptacle quantities and locations are other that what was mentioned above are sufficient.

d. One existing electrical receptacle provides power to an L C Industries powered by HSM Model 110800C shredder which is marked 110-120V, 2.8A, 440W.
