FY22 Testing Specialist Questions & Answers

1. How many sessions will the testing specialist be required to work each week?

- Please refer back to Section 4.5 and 4.6 of the attached Performance Work

Statement.

2. Are resumes required with the response submission?

-Resumes are not required with the submission.

3. What are the minimum education qualifications/ does the testing specialist need to hold a certain type of college degree, specialized licensing, or credentials?

-There is no degree requirement anymore since we don’t do ACT/SAT.

However, we need someone who can learn information quickly and pass the

FAA exams and others to administer those tests.

4. Is this a new requirement? Is there an incumbent? If so, please provide the name of the contractor and the contract.

-This is not a new requirement, the current contractor is Skies the Limit

Academy, LLC and the contract number is FA446021P0003.

5. How many Testing Specialists are requested for this solicitation?

-Only one Testing Specialist is requested for this requirement.

6. What is the budget for this solicitation?

-That information cannot be shared.

7. Are any other documents other than the completed solicitation document required with submission?

-No other documentation is required in addition to the submission of the solicitation.

8. Do you expect the staff/position title to come from Attachment 2 Wage

Determination?

-Yes, the position title is to come from the attached Wage Determination.

9. What is the calendar period for the performance of services?

-1 October 2021-30 September 2022

10. What is the historic level of effort (number of sessions per year) actually utilized by the government for testing?

-The average number of sessions that were completed for FY19 and FY20 was

230 sessions per year.

11. What is required in regards to Ancillary Training and other tests for access to

DoD Computers?

- The Testing Specialist will have to complete Information Assurance training and background checks (finger prints & previous employment history) to obtain a CAC card to access the .mil system.

12. What days of the week and how many hours per week will the employee work?

-Please refer back to Section 4.5 and 4.6 of the attached Performance Work

Statement.

13. In paragraph 4.4 of the PWS, is the contractor only supporting the testing effort which is 24 hours? Or providing support during the entire week for 37 hours?

- The contractor will only support between Tuesday-Wednesday 0800-1130 &

1230-1600, now on Thursday it is 0800-1130 only. This will be a total of 5 sessions a week.
