QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1. Should the maintenance contract extended price include the costs of replacement parts? Or is the expectation that replacement parts would be billed at time of service. The pricing worksheet includes “equipment” in the description. “Provide PM Inspection Service and Repairs at all JB CHS Giant Voice Site locations.” Responding to Service Calls: provide all labor, tools, equipment, supplies supervision and transportation necessary to provide PM and Repairs at JB CHS in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement.

A1. Under CLIN 0001, unit price should include the costs of replacement parts associated with typical wear and tear and any equipment necessary to complete the semi-annual inspection in accordance with the technical specifications identified by the manufacturer and as stated in the PWS. Under CLIN 0002, equipment and parts necessary to perform the repair will be quoted upon identification of needed repair, prior to service.

Q2. Can you tell me who the incumbent is solicitation Number: FA441820QA001 and the amount awarded?

A2. FA441817P0030, Ardent Eagle Solutions, Award Amount: $126,300.44.

Q3. What is the contractor supposed to do about the birds that nest on top of the units/stacks?

A3. The birds’ nests on the units/stacks will NOT be the contractor’s responsibility. That responsibility falls on the 628 Communication Squadron.
