B2058 Site visit Questions

Where is the power coming from?

How many Existing work stations are there and how many ending workstations are you expecting?

The first floor currently has 66 workstations with the 20% increase we should have a total of 89 workstations.

The third floor currently has 69 workstations with the 20% increase we should have a total of 88 workstations.

During the site visit there were cubicles that were to remain in place (4 workstations) please identify in the plans.

Four cubicles on the first floor will remain in place. Rm 134 on the right side of the diagram

(measurements are 43’4”) housing 11 workstations.

Need to confirm sizing of stations and HATs. WS1 stations are listed as 30"x72", but the HAT desks are listed as 23"x58". Based on the visuals provided, my guess is the HATs need to be

23"x70", not 58". Please confirm.

We are indeed looking for 24” x 60” desk. For the 20% increase that size is perfect and will accommodate the number of PCs per workstation

We’re concerned about the CPUs and monitors all fitting in these new smaller stations. Please confirm how many CPUs and how many monitors each new station will require? They are asking for a lot of power and data for just a straight surface. With the mobile ped underneath, they can probably only fit 1 CPU underneath. If they put both underneath, there won't be much legroom.

So the other CPU might need to go on the HAT desk along with however many monitors they have.

Each workstation will house 4‐5 thin client PCs. Separation of networks will be top/bottom on each desk or left/right. Our sister unit has the exact desk and each network is separated as such.

The contractor is to run the cabling to the termination points in each station, please confirm if the contractor is to actually terminate the data?

The contractor is not to terminate the data or run to each station. There will be a third party involved to conduct the work needed.

Where is existing product to be disposed of at? DMRO or are we disposing?

The contractor is responsible for disposing of old furniture off‐site

How many escorts will we have to complete job ‐ teardown/new product, and how many guys per escort?

The host squadron will be provide the escorts. The number of escorts is dependent on the size of each crew (teardown crew, assemble crew etc.) If in the same area, one escort could handle a group of 4‐5.
