QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Cut-off date for contractor questions is: 1:00 PM CST, 14 July 2020.

Questions Question 1: How do you want to control / operate the sound system? From a single mixer control position or wirelessly from a laptop or tablet?

Government Response: Single mixer control position Question 2: Is there an indoor control booth for the PA or will an equipment rack need to be mounted to an exterior of a building? The specifications state “Enclosed in an Environmentally Controlled with locking mechanism.” Please elaborate.

Government Response: There is an existing cabinet in place. Either re-use the existing rack or replace with a new cabinet.

Question 3: How many speakers total? The Layout has 37 yellow positions but missing on two (2) canopies. 40 total?

Government Response: One for one swap. 37 as indicated.

Question 4: Will the control location be at building 2261?

Government Response: Under the bleachers to the south of Bldg 2259/Reviewing Stand Question 5: What is the maximum desired Sound Pressure Level (SPL) required at each of the bleacher seat locations? The answer to this question may narrow / limit the choice selection for speaker criteria.

Government Response: Speakers must be able to handle multitude of ranges of sound levels, ranging from music and voice, from a CD or mic’s. The music is generally played at a set volume, but the speakers using the mic’s fluctuate. So, I guess the answer to your question is, between 75 dbB and 90 dB.
