Questions
1. Per the site visit the facility has non plenum cat 5e cable installed. Would the government want this legacy cable removed and upgraded with cat 6e plenum?
REPLY: No.
2. Can the government provide the contract number and name of the Incumbent?
REPLY: Previous Contract: FA301618C0017
Contractor: Innovative Global Solutions, LLC.

3. Can the government provide the name of the current Internet Service Provider?
REPLY: AT&T.
4. Can the government provide the connector type and mode for the fiber between buildings?
REPLY: SM Fiber path from B1050 to B6114 will be established by Government.
Selected vendor will need to complete a site survey of B1050 (Commercial Demarc) with 502 CS to determine what type of SM fiber patch cables are required within Bldg 1050.
Once patches are made at connection points (B5616 and B5100) vendor will be notified as to what type of patch cables will be required to replace those used by the Government.
5. Will the contractor have access under the building where cable is installed?
REPLY: Yes.
6. Is the flex running under the building one solid piece or does it end once it hits stubs out under the building?
REPLY: Unknown or no other information is available. The contractor needs to determine themselves the best appropriate scenario.
7. Per the site visit for the desk not located near a wall, will a power pole be installed to provide data? If a power pole is not installed , what is desired method so cable is not running free on floor?

REPLY: The contractor should determine the best appropriate means to uphold a safe working environment while complying with applicable ANSI, EIA, TIA, guidelines on communication infrastructure(s).
8. Would the government be willing to extend this to Wednesday 5/7/2020 to allow to get accurate pricing?
REPLY: The due date for quotation is unchanged at 07 May 2020, as stated in last posting in Beta.SAM.
