About this file

This document outlines a federal solicitation for innovative commercial solutions to support Air Force Education and Training Command's mission. The solicitation will proceed in three phases, with the first being submission of solution briefs by February 2020 describing commercially available dual-use products or processes. Solutions meeting criteria may then provide virtual pitches before selected companies submit full proposals by April 2020. The Air Force may award other transaction agreements or fixed-price contracts for prototype projects directly enhancing military effectiveness. Successful prototypes could transition to production contracts. Companies must register in SAM and have a DUNS number to receive awards. The solicitation seeks to recruit, train and educate airmen through online training platforms and skills assessments while minimizing hardware requirements.
