About this file
This document provides details for a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) solicitation from the Air Force regarding innovative technologies for the Air Education and Training Command. The solicitation seeks solution briefs and proposals in three phases for prototype projects that could enhance Air Force mission effectiveness. Solution briefs are due by April 2, 2020 and should not exceed five pages or fifteen slides. Companies selected to proceed may then provide in-person pitches before being invited to submit a full proposal. The proposal should include a technical approach and price proposal using established cost estimating methodologies. The Air Force may award fixed-price contracts or other transaction agreements for successful prototypes and allow for iterative prototyping and follow-on production contracts. Non-traditional defense contractors and small businesses are encouraged to participate.

AREAS OF INTEREST (AOI): Project Adaptive Basing Trailer Amendment 01
This is an amendment to the original AoI posted on March 11, 2020 which was scheduled to close March 25, 2020. Due to the complications that have arisen due to the COVID-19 outbreak, this AoI has been extended.
Written solution briefs must be sent via e-mail submission by 11:59 P.M. (AKST) on 2 April 2020, with subject line stating “Adaptive Basing Trailer” to shannon.simmons.4@us.af.mil. Solution briefs received after the specified due date and time will be discarded and not be evaluated by the Government.
Any Solution Briefs already submitted will still be considered for evaluation but any company that wants to resubmit their Solution Brief under the AoI has the right to do so, as long as it is received by the above-mentioned deadline. No further extension are intended to be granted.
