The key cutting requests come through our customer service section and must be initiated by the facility manager of the facility that the key is to be cut for. Q. I understand from talking with a local Lock Distributor that you have an agreement with them to replace cores with the Keymark X4 cores. Will they be supplying cores thru the duration of this contract? Or is this something I need to figure into my costs?
A. The Government does not have an agreement with Clark Security to replace cores with the Keymark X4 cores as stated. Clark Security is a supplier of the cores we currently use for our Keymark system. We place our orders for our Keymark products through Maratech, which is our COCESS contractor and is authorized to do so. With that said, if and when we decide to go to the new Keymark X4 system, it will be Maratech who determines which vendor they will purchase from.
