About this file
This Statement of Need from the US Space Force details requirements for two Utility Work Vehicles to be used for snow removal operations, work tasks, and airfield damage repair. The specified vehicles must have identical core features including a fully enclosed cab, 4-wheel drive, fully opening doors with roll-down windows, air conditioning/heat/defrost, 61+ gross horsepower, hydrostatic power steering, and a 4,000+ lb gross vehicle weight rating. The first vehicle requires a hydraulic high flow package and standard 3-point hitch with Power Take-Off, while the second vehicle needs a hydraulic cargo dump capability. Both vehicles must include a comprehensive road package with safety features like backup alarms, turn signals, mirrors, and lights. Delivery is specified for Buckley Space Force Base within 120 days of order receipt, with a lowboy delivery vehicle required due to limited access and no off-loading ramp. Government officials will inspect and accept the vehicles upon delivery.
