About this file
This Statement of Need from the US Space Force details requirements for two Utility Work Vehicles to be used for snow removal operations, work tasks, and airfield damage repair at Buckley Space Force Base. The specification requires two distinct vehicles, each with similar core features including a fully enclosed cab, 4-wheel drive, air conditioning, heat, defrost, 61+ gross horsepower, hydrostatic power steering, and a comprehensive road package. Vehicle 1 includes a standard 3-point hitch and PTO, while Vehicle 2 includes a hydraulic cargo dump. Both vehicles must have a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,000 LBS or more, LED lights, and a hydraulic high flow package. Delivery is mandated within 60 days of order receipt, using a lowboy delivery vehicle due to limited base access, with government officials to inspect and accept the vehicles upon delivery.
